It's not in the least bit unusual for existing clients to hire me back me to "extend" or paint additional murals - "Phases," as I like to call them.
My clients initially commissioned me to incorporate their metal art sculpture into a mural on their entry way wall. They had seen a lanai wall mural, that I painted several years ago, on the 9th hole of the "Truman" Golf course. Finding that particular mural especially pleasing, they wanted something similar painted, incorporating their "Sandhill Crane" metal art sculpture into their own mural.
Upon completion (Phase1,) my clients decided that they liked the "underpainting" too much to cover it up with the metal wall art sculpture. Therefore, they hired me back to extend the mural by painting the entire wall facing their entry way.
