A Merger of Country & State!

This one is uniquely different, indeed! First, there’s the composition; an Eagle in flight, carrying a flag - but not just any flag. It’s actually a merger of two flags; the American and the Stateof Florida - detectable by the detailed center seal.

My fun loving clients, Ron & Ellen, kept their “lips sealed,” regarding the subject matter, for weeks. Quite the prankster, Ron, suggested that we play a little joke on their neighborhood friends. A number gathered around, as I began to sketch. Brimming with curiosity, they questioned what exactly the driveway mural was going be. Keeping it secret as long as possible, while I sketched, an eagle began to emerge. So I told them the “bird” would have I Ron’s “face” instead of the eagle’s!

Lol, we really had them going for a while!
